This programme will help you get ready to progress in the primary industries. This enjoyable three day course will teach you to back a trailer, put up an electric fence, sharpen a knife, fix leaking pipes or drive a tractor, depending on your interests.

Vaccination Policy

All students must be fully vaccinated by 1 March 2022 in order to study on our campuses. The only exception is for fully online programmes, or for USkills or secondary school students or those with a Ministry of Health exemption. Read more about the Policy

 Career & Study Outcomes

On your successful completion of this course, you will be able to:

· Back a trailer (both car and quad trailer).
· Put up an electric fence.
· Sharpen a knife.
· Fix a leaking pipe.
· Drive a tractor.

 Domestic Entry Requirements

No prior academic qualification is required; however, the participants must be physically fit and be 18 years old or over.

A verified copy of your identification

You should supply a verified copy of any of the following documents:
  • Current driver license
  • Current New Zealand passport
  • Birth certificate
  • Whakapapa statement
