We are all kaitiaki, guardians of the land, and now you have the chance to experience what it would be like to train and work in conservation.

UCOL and Pūkaha National Wildlife Centre are offering a one-week taster course where you can come and see what life would be like as a qualified conservationist.

You will learn about wildlife identification, understanding the flora and fauna of Pūkaha, predator control and more.

This is a free course and includes transport from UCOL Wairarapa to Pūkaha!

No prior academic qualification is required, however participants must be physically fit and be 18 years old or over.
