The Ministry of Health has put together updated charts on COVID-19 symptoms, testing, self-isolation and support. Read more.

The Ministry of Education have put together some short-form guidance to help everyone with understanding the requirements at each level. They also have a comprehensive list of Q&As on their website if you’d like more information.

Tertiary and international education at Orange – Education in New Zealand

Find out what you need to do if you are positive for COVID-19 or you are a Household Contact (living with a positive case)  here

  • If you are isolating and still have symptoms after 7 days, stay home until 24 hours after symptoms resolve.
  • Log all rapid antigen test results with HealthInfo@ucol.ac.nz and on the government’s My Covid Record, even if it is negative.  This will help the Ministry of Health to understand transmission within households and how the outbreak is spreading through communities. 
  • Your isolation does not restart if additional members of your household are identified as cases.

The Government recommend using the Ministry of Health COVID-19 tracker app to keep a record of where you have been. UCOL will continue to display QR Codes for this app at its doors. Whatever system you decide to use, the important thing is to keep a track of where you have been.
