At UCOL, we believe that student success can not only be measured in terms of academic or learning outcomes, but also by the improvement in applied learning or practical skills, by the achievement of personal goals or community goals, and by improved employment opportunities.
As such, UCOL takes a holistic approach to its services, focusing on various areas to help students develop a range of skills that encourage students to reach their potential.
When you come to study at UCOL, you'll become a part of the UCOL whānau and have access to services proudly provided by our Student Success staff and covered by your student services levy. The compulsory student service fee (CSSF) is set at $575 per equivalent full-time student based on one of UCOL's four campuses, and discounts are applied for specific programmes or circumstances. Details of how the CSSF is used are available in the 2015 Annual Report.
Students are welcome to find out more about how fees are set and how they can be directly involved in the CSSF decision-making process by contacting the Student Association (AS@U).
