Using the New Zealand Health Model of Te Whare Tapa Whā, you will discover various health practices currently being used in New Zealand.

 Career & Study Outcomes

Successful completion of UCOL's STAR Alternative Health Care programme is the first step in a journey. Equipped with new skills and a taste for the industry, you will know what you need to do to pursue a career in hairdressing. If this is for you, you can undertake further tertiary studies in:

 Course Information

STAR Alternative Health Care programme comprises of 5 credits.

 

 

 Domestic Entry Requirements

For year 11 - 13 secondary school students (NZ Citizens, permanent residents or students with an applicable visa allowing them to be enrolled in a secondary school).

Applications are to be received from participating schools.
