Administration Services (15 credits)
Learn to plan, organise, analyse, manage and evaluate administration systems and processes to support management.
Administration Systems, Processes and Projects (15 credits)
Learn to analyse the effectiveness and efficiencies of administration systems and processes; develop and implement strategies to improve administration systems and processes; plan, co-ordinate, monitor, manage and evaluate projects within a budget to support a business entity.
Analysis of Financial Information (15 credits)
Learn to calculate, analyse and interpret financial information to inform decision making for a business entity and evaluate debtor risk.
Applied Accounting (15 credits)
Learn to record and process a wide range of financial transactions manually, as well as using software. You'll act in accordance with the accounting profession’s Code of Ethics to research and communicate technical financial information for a business entity’s performance.
Budgets for Planning and Control (15 credits)
Learn to prepare budgets and use budgets to monitor business performance for a business entity and determine internal controls to minimise financial risk for a business entity.
Business Information Management (15 credits)
Learn to use information to support operations and management; produce support materials for business technology to meet business entity needs and manage business technology to support users to meet business entity needs.
Business Planning (15 credits)
Learn to formulate a business plan.
Business Technologies (15 credits)
Learn to research and analyse new and emerging business technologies and apply knowledge of those technologies to support the operations and management within a business entity.
Introduction to Accounting and Taxation

Learn to apply leadership skills to achieve organisational outcomes and change.

Learn to effectively manage a project.

Learn to apply techniques to improve operational management and compliance.
Year two courses
Analysis and Design (15 credits)
Learn to to analyse the needs of the business, and understand the tools and techniques used to design IT solutions that add value to a business.
Accounting Information Systems (15 credits)
Learn to design, implement, operate, manage and control accounting information systems. You'll develop practical knowledge, understanding and skills in the use of spreadsheets, databases, and accounting packages, and an appreciation of evolving technologies.
Business Analytics and Research (15 credits)
Learn to apply analytics and research concepts within a business context.
Project Management (15 credits)
Learn the basic principles and terminology of the profession of project management, and apply this to create project plans. You'll also be given a brief introduction to using project management.

Year three courses
Advanced Systems Analysis (15 credits)
Gain introductory knowledge in tools and techniques used to assess feasibility and present a business case. As part of your studies you'll complete an analysis of a complex information system based on the recommendation from the feasibility phase.
Industry Capstone (45 credits)
Undertake an industry based project/internship of a complex nature.
Management of Information and Communication Technologies (15 credits)
Gain an overview of the IT management function. Learn to differentiate between technical and business management, and project management and strategy management for IT. You'll be introducted to various standards, frameworks and models that can be employed for strategic management of the IT function. You'll gain hands on experience related to advanced risk and change management practices through application of case studies.
Professional Practice (15 credits)
Preparation for transition into an applied business profession. You'll source an industry project/internship and produce appropriate documentation.
