TANZ Achievements – Tertiary Accord of New Zealand
2008 Achievements
- Preparation of draft academic quality documentation as part of the Academic Harmonisation project which aims to produce a standard Academic Quality Management System for TANZ partners.
- Completion of a pilot project using MyLearn which is a platform that allows collaborative online teaching through Moodle.
- Partnership with Northtec for delivery of their Certificate in e-Learning Design and Development
- Continued updating of TANZ online programmes including the National Diploma in Business, First Line Management.
- Continued development of online programmes including the National Certificate in Business Administration Level 4.
- Development of material for the National Certificate in Motor Industry Entry Skills (Level 2)
- Transfer of UCOL’s Certificate in Advanced Workplace Skills onto Moodle for all TANZ partners to use.
2009 Projects
- Collaborate with CPIT and Otago Polytechnic with the aim of offering their Bachelor of Applied Management in 2010.
- Continuation of the Academic Harmonisation Project.
- Partnership with TANZ partners to offer programmes through the MyLearn platform such as New Zealand Diploma in Business.
- Collation of material for the National Certificate in Motor Industry Entry Skills (Level 2) for all TANZ partners to use.
- Transfer of UCOL’s Certificate in Customer Service Skills onto Moodle for all TANZ partners to use.
