Each year all students have an opportunity to take part in a survey called, Tōku Reo - My Voice, about UCOL's programmes of study, facilities and services.
The survey was run for the second time in early 2017 with 24% of our student population taking part (20% in the previous year).
This time students received the online survey link via text message, due to some advising us in 2016 that they had access issues. No issues with access were reported in 2017.
Positive overall experiences were reported by 73% of students (82% in 2016). Students were particularly satisfied with the level of support provided by UCOL and the ease of navigating campuses and finding information. Many students agreed that classes were interesting and their teachers helped them learn. Most students were also happy with the course they chose.
UCOL opened for 2018 enrolments in the first week of July 2017, coinciding with enhanced communications for enrolled students prior to the programmes starting, such as timely information about course costs, key dates and timetables.
