If you want to become a competent computer user, the National Certificate in Computing Level 3 programme gives you the opportunity to develop your computing skills in the following areas: Word processing, information management, spread sheeting, databases, desktop publishing, presentation software, career development, operating and maintaining a computer. It allows you to study from home with learning support, on or off campus, and face-to-face assessment sessions.
Note: You will be required to attend a face to face induction session on campus prior to your course starting. At this session you will meet the staff and other students on the programme, collect your learning resources and be given an overview of the programme content and assessment requirements
Please note this is a regionally delivered programme only. UCOL areas cover (Palmerston North, Whanganui and Wairarapa) campuses. Therefore UCOL will not accept enrolments from students out of our catchment area due to the required on campus face to face assessments for this programme.
